First week
- Develop your ideas and sketches into a 3D volume
- Working with package drawings
- Control vertice layout and distribution
- Definition of main surfaces
- Nurbs surface continuity / curve alignment
- Surface assessment
- Patch layout and strategy
Second Week
- Refining and completing the model generating small surface features
- Closing the model ready for milling or Rapid prototyping
- Preparing the model in Alias for Showcase
- Preparation of the surface model within Showcase
- Application of material environment and lighting settings
- Animation and presentation tools
- Final rendering and animation
Following Graduation
Upon Majenta Academy graduation each student will be:
- Provided with an industry recognised Autodesk certificate
- Issued with their own Alias Student licence
- Put through a CV assessment and interview assistance program, including role plays, to help make them stand-out.

Who should attend?
Automotive, Transportation and Product Design students and graduates keen to improve their digital design skills. Design graduates interested in expanding their placement and career opportunities. The course is also excellent for clay modellers who would like to develop their digital design skill-set.
The students will typically be about to or have graduated in Product, Transportation or Automotive Design or a similar course and have aspirations to join the most dynamic engineering / manufacturing environments in the UK.
