Transition from Clay Modelling to Alias Certification

Course Outline
This 8 days course will teach you the most advanced digital design tools Alias Studioand Showcase. You will learn the tools and workflows used in digital design building a 3D car exterior, using similar methodology that you use to model in Clay. Develop a new concept or reproducing an existing design from sketches and engineering package we will be covering the difference stages of the design workflow .

First Week

• Develop your ideas and sketches into a 3D volume
• Ergonomics and Engineering package
• Definition of main surfaces

• Closing the model ready for milling or Rapid Prototyping
• Final Rendering and Animation
• Visualisation and Presentation
